Hopefully, it can minimize inundation when it rains

Rawa Terate Urban Village Secretary, Daniel Wisnu Parulin said PPSU was deployed to help locals affected by the inundation last Thursday (2/29). They got support from four personnel of the Jakarta Environment Agency's Water Agency UPK Task Force in cleaning up the waste.

"First, we deployed them to RT 10/05 and then continued to RT 16/04. We also sent the Water Agency UPK Task Force to clean up the waste in the Buaran River, RW 04," he stated.

It was done manually. The waste was put into sacks and disposed to the Bantar Gebang Landfill, Bekasi, West Java.

RW 05 Raw Terate Chairman, Hendra Hadiansyah added that the same action will also be held tomorrow in RT 08 and 10.
